The WLJT Team has been very busy in our communities across West Tennessee connecting people with interesting happenings and opportunities right in our own backyard!
WLJT’s All About Home Club gathered at the Pickwick State Landing Park Lodge, a WLJT underwriter, where Ranger Rachel Boothe gave a tour of the their butterfly gardens and explained the states "Project Milkweed," which helps restore monarch habitats.
The All About Home Club also toured Tennessee Towers Hydroponic Farm in Savannah. Hosts Wendy and Sharon demonstrated their hydroponic towers, which grow plants using only 2% of traditional water.
WLJT's Julie Cooke visited Chris and Anna Holmes of WLJT underwriter, Serenity in Color in Henderson. The Certified Bob Ross Instructors create landscape paintings and offer classes for all skill levels.
WLJT thanks our underwriters Pickwick State Landing Park and Serenity in Color for their financial support. We also thank Tennessee Towers Hydroponic Farm for hosting us and Crye-Leike Pickwick for their prize donation.
